A lot of people who dont know me ask me who ive produced for, and i always run down the list... but one name always stands out to them, because they had no idea i produced for him just cuz of who he is... and that person is Chip Tha Ripper.

well, yes its semi true... i produced a song for Peezy S Thompson that featured Chip on it... and the song was called "Pop My Trunk"... now ur prob wondering why u havnt heard this song or y i havnt promoted it b4... well heres the story...

Im pretty sure this was back in 2005... me and peezy were workin on his album, doin tracks here n there... and he came to me like "hey i just sent chip an email askin him if he wanted to do a song, and he said yeah" and i gess peezy said "ill pay u" in the note... and those couple words is what got Chip responding to the email, and he even said it too... he said sumthin about how dudes always wanna colab but dont wanna pay and that peezy was a real dude for bringin that up... so anyways like i said, this was waaaaaaaaay back in 2005... this was maybe a couple months b4 he even got his dream life deal... this was back when his "comin down kapp'n" cd with the kickdrums was supposed to be comin out... so compared to what chip is now, he wasnt really nuffin back then... so anyways, i was like "aight man, lets do it! how much is he chargin?" and peezy was like "$300" and if memory serves me correct this was at the end of that summer... and he was gettin ready to go back to school, and he just finished up his summer job and was like "its cool, ill just use the money i made from my summer job to pay it off" so i was like, aight, lets do it...

so we told chip to just come to my studio and record his verse there, cuz peezys 2 verses were already recorded... but he was like "naw, u guys need to come to my studio and do it" (mind u, we r paying him.... but ok) so we were like... yeah this is chip, hes prob got a nice place to go and shit... so we meet him deep on the eastside kinda over by VASJ highschool... and we followed him to his "studio" which was actually in a apartment complex... so me n peezy were just lookin at eachother like ... oooooook? ...so we went up in this joint n shit, n the booth was no joke a closet with a lil radio shack mic in it... and the salt just started pourin out of me, cuz im like thinkin "dude, i got a $500 mic... y r we here" so as we r knockin out the song, theres like 20 people all kickin it in the apartment n shit, n im just watchin MTV n shit...

so they finished the song and peezy paid Big Duke, and the dude who recorded it told us that he was gonna fuck with it sum more and send us the best version... so we went out to the car, and listened to it... and it sounded like shiiit, but we were like "ok, he said hes gonna fuck with it, so well be cool" i remember thinking it was a bittersweet moment

so as time and emails and texts went by, we never got a better version... we asked to get the acapellas so we could fuck with it... but no1 would respond to us "real ass dudes"

im not tellin this story to shit on anyone, im tellin this story cuz its a REAL ASS STORY... this is what really happens behind the scenes... sure we got played, and we were young and dumb, we shoulda been a whooooole lot smarter... but this is life in the music biz, even on the underground tip, u live and u learn... i gotta love it tho, we kept it movin oviously...

but anyways, here is the song... finaly being released for the 1st time... and NO i am not puttin it on the playlist cuz the quality is sooooooooo fucking booty!
